Fit & Fab Friday: Confession–Not so Fit afterall
Posted in Fit Fab 2013
Dear Readers:
I’ve not been feeling too fit these days. Accountability starts here…
Exercise Confession: Exercising kind of slowed down. It’s been getting tougher and tougher to wake up so early each morning.
Food Confession: I’ve been eating forbidden food! One Cupcake, Few bites of Brownie, One scoop of ice cream, Few spoons of Chicken Rice, Half a pack of chips…
My solution?
- Tell the world about it
- Find and make the time to exercise
- Exercise
- Exercise
- Exercise
What do you do when you start steering off course in your journey to be fit and fab?

My recent post Hill Training: What Goes Up Must Come Down
I am there right now and trying to figure out what to do. I had a great couple of years and lost a lot of weight… I've gained back about 1/2 of it. I think that the successful years were successful because I had support. I had a group of friends whom I walked with at least 3 or 4 days a week, and my husband and I would go out on the weekends. But, with more kids coming along (for us and several of my friends), it is getting harder and harder to find time when we can all get together. I can't get motivated to work out on my own.
So, my tip – find a workout buddy! Once you have the workouts figured out, an occasional cupcake or scoop of ice cream won't have as much of an impact!

I just ate a massive late night bowl of cereal and didn't jog today. I feel you pain.
I walked 3 days in a row but hadn't walked for a while before that. I have been eating sweets some since I am preggers.
I've got to do something. I have access to everything to make it happen, I just don't. I like the workout buddy idea. I know I always did much better when I had people to talk to me and distract me from the exercises!

I've been feeling pretty tired and run down this week and haven't been exercising like I should either. We all deserve time off here and there.
IT definitely helps to be accountable.
Have you tried out the My Fitness pal app? It really helps me stay honest.
Speaking of..I need to put in that Hershey's kiss I just stole from my girls' Easter basket.

I need more accountability too, it is too easy to find excuses.
You're not alone! I've not been doing as well lately either. I can't find enough time to exercise, and the people I work with keep bringing doughnuts in! I have no will power when it comes to doughnuts.
